Set of decoy art by Canadian Ralph Malpage. Original paint and carving with incredible detail. Ralph made gunning decoys for 70+ years, his style influenced by Ben Schmidt of Michigan. These decoys do not appear to have ever had keels, but rather are for display. Small bits of damage on the feathers of the Hooded Merganser and the Mallard. See pics.
Hooded Merganser is 13” long, Mallard is 15” long, Canvasback is 14” long, Green Winged Teal is 11” long, Northern Pintail is 23” long, and Wood Duck is 11.5” long.
