During this recent COVID surge, our day to day service offerings may be adjusted between our retail operations and our donation center operations. We will continue to keep you apprised of these changes through this newsletter and on our website as they occur.

During this recent COVID surge, we are taking steps to provide improved safety protocols, and with reduced staffing. This means things may take a little longer than usual.

As we navigate the never-ending winter weather, a staff shortage, and an increase of COVID cases, we have decided to close the store to the public, for the remainder of this week. We are working on a plan to keep our volunteers and community safe from the spiking COVID cases while still continuing our mission for Youth & Family Services.

The Mercer Island Thrift Shop will be closed Monday, January 3 for the general health and safety of all of our people – volunteers, staff and customers. We have a trifecta of challenges: an icy parking lot, limited staffing and record COVID cases.

With consultation from our team and City leadership, we are working on a plan to keep our operations as safe as possible during this unprecedented time of COVID cases. Please stay tuned to our website www.mercerislandthrift.org for further updates.

Our donation center, located at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center will resume regular operations from 10am to 2pm today.

Shop Our Online SALE!

As a token of our appreciation for your patience, we are offering a 20% discount throughout our online store when you spend $25 or more. This offer lasts through Saturday, January 8th.

When you place an order for local pickup, a staff member will reach out to you to arrange a curbside pickup day and time, Sunday through Thursday, from 10am to 5pm.
